simple things

every morning i savour the coffee (more so if mama makes it)
and flip the papers.
one section that i don't miss when i haf a bit more time
is the horoscope and the comics section.
it never fails to bring a little smile on my face.
bizarro, baby blues, get fuzzy.

this morning i had the luxury of sipping great mama-brewed coffee
and waking up at 10am.
then i flipped to the horoscopes hoping for some insightful hints into my life.
"you receive confusing directions at work or a home project
and clarity might take too long to arrive.
this may be a time for you to close your eyes
and trust the universe."

Yes i know...take horoscopes with a pinch of salt.
but 'close yr eyes and trust the universe'
actually did perk me up very much today.
